In August 2018 compared with August 2017:
Visitor arrivals (16,777) were up by 904. The biggest changes were in arrivals from:
- Europe(up 301)
- New Zealand(up 216)
- Australia(up 174).
Overseas trips by Cook Islands residents (1,170) were up by 7.4%
