In May 2018 compared with May 2017:
Visitor arrivals (15,171) were up by 1,748. The biggest changes were in arrivals from:
- New Zealand(up 1,253)
- Australia(up 264)
- Other Countries (up 186).
Overseas trips by Cook Islands residents (961) were up by 6.5%
