In October 2017 compared with October 2016:
Visitor arrivals (15,404) were up 1,159. The biggest changes were in arrivals from:
- New Zealand(up 716)
- Europe(up 242)
- Canada (up 187).
Overseas trips by Cook Islands residents (1,039) were up by 3.1%
