In June 2017 compared with June 2016:
Visitor arrivals (15,666) were up 1,296. The biggest changes were in arrivals from:
- New Zealand (up 759)
- Australia (up 310)
- Canada (up 69).
Overseas trips by Cook Islands residents (829) were down by 14.0%
