In April 2017 compared with April 2016:
Visitor arrivals (13,246) were up 1,900. The biggest changes were in arrivals from:
- New Zealand (up 892)
- USA (up 390)
- Europe (up 194).
Overseas trips by Cook Islands residents (1,008) were down by 26.7%
