In March 2017 compared with March 2016:
Visitor arrivals (10,954) were up 1,028. The biggest changes were in arrivals from:
- New Zealand (up 736)
- USA (up 171)
- Asia (up 97).
Overseas trips by Cook Islands residents (951) were down by 15.1%
