In February 2017 compared with February 2016:
Visitor arrivals (7,731) were up 1,622. The biggest changes were in arrivals from:
- New Zealand (up 1,236)
- Australia (up 241)
- USA(up 184).
Overseas trips by Cook Islands residents (827) were down by 17.5%
