In October 2016 compared with October 2015:
Visitor arrivals (14,245) were up 993. The biggest changes were in arrivals from:
- New Zealand (up 954)
- Europe (up 204)
- Canada (up 43).
Overseas trips by Cook Islands residents (1,008) were down by 17.0%
