In July 2016 compared with July 2015:
Visitor arrivals (16,469) were up 2,107. The biggest changes were in arrivals from:
- New Zealand (up 1,972)
- USA (up 139)
- Europe (up 118).
Overseas trips by Cook Islands residents (857) were down by 10%
