VACANCY: CIIC Chief Executive Officer


The Board of the Cook Islands Investment Corporation (CIIC) is seeking a qualified and experienced individual to fill the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The CEO is responsible to the Board for the management of the CIIC.

The Cook Islands Investment Corporation is a statutory Corporation of the Cook Islands Government and manages Crown assets and SOEs on behalf of the Crown. The CIIC administers the Cook Islands Government Property Corporation and oversees Te Aponga Uira, the Airport Authority, the Bank of the Cook Islands and the Ports Authority. The Board is seeking a person who has at least 15 years senior management experience with a background in financial management, project management and policy development.

The individual must have:

  • strong strategic focus with demonstrated achievements in developing and implementing strategy
  • excellent leadership and team building skills with an emphasis on building capacity within an organization and managing performance levels.
  • an ability to work in a flexible manner to support the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the Corporation
  • experience in leading organisation in an environment of change
  • the personal skills to maintain good working relationships with all the key stakeholders.
