Welcome to MFEM Treasury Division online!

As you can see from our 'New/Recent Releases' Treasury endeavors to provide regular economic updates on the Cook Islands economy.  These updates analyze the local economy using visitor arrivals and tax intake with commentary. 

Where appropriate we try to offer outlooks on what can be expected in the near future, based on current trends.

The Economic Updates also assess on a monthly basis a specific sector of interes. 

Areas of interest may be considered as those where current public interest is significant, and/or where an industry or sector is of immediate interest to Government, and/or where trends within the sector warrant closer attention.
