About the agency - Ko ʻai Mātou
The Ministry of Finance and Economic Management was formed during the 1996 Reform Process and is frequently referred to by its acronym MFEM. The Ministry is a central agency in the Cook Islands Government responsible for advising the Government on financial and economic issues. The Minister responsible for MFEM is Hon. Mark Brown. The Ministry is headed by Financial Secretary Garth Henderson.
